The governors´reception at the Fairmont hotel „Vier Jahreszeiten“ in Hamburg on the 8th of October had the objective to make contacts to representants of the Hamburg economy and to intensify the relations with already existing partners.
The evening of the 9th October was hosted by the WTC Hamburg. The high ranked delegation of twelve persons, the governor and the first lady vistited the hanseatic city of Lueneburg. Lueneburg is very old but well-preserved and it belongs to the metropolitan region of Hamburg, the WTC Hamburg is responsible for.
After a walk through the inner city, governor Beebe and the first lady signed the „Golden Book“ of the city in the townhall. A traditional more than 1000 years old ceremony for very high-ranked guests.

The dinner after the ceremony was not only the nice last event on the delegations´ business trip through Europe, it was at the same time the opportunity for business contacts in a convenient atmosphere.
