The objective of the World Trade Center Hamburg Foundation is to provide support to educational and development projects in the Hamburg area as well as the
establishment and support of these types of projects mainly in developing countries or in disaster areas.
The use of funds abroad is conditional on the local World Trade Center lending its support free of charge in controlling and documenting the use of the funds
in order to determine the efficiency of the activities and to increase this for the future. In accordance with the statutes of the World Trade Centers Association,
the World Trade Center Hamburg Foundation also aligns itself with the principles of non-political and non-religious participation in international communication
for trade, peace and exchange throughout the world.
The World Trade Center Hamburg Foundation receives its funds from proportional membership contributions from the World Trade Center Club Hamburg, as well
as proceeds/donations directly collected at events for specific purposes or through other donations. The World Trade Hamburg itself will strive to invest
any surpluses from the current operation of the World Trade Centers for services and events with the purpose of increasing membership numbers and with that
the Foundation volume.
Important notice
The aim of the Foundation is not some hazily defined “feel good” objective, but instead it is the active implementation of common goals together with (when viewed as a whole) the practical effects of better knowledge and understanding and the ongoing constructive and productive interaction of the economic areas.
Donation receipts will be issued. The allocation of funds will be determined jointly by the members of the World Trade Center Club Hamburg in accordance with the constitution. The employees of World Trade Center Hamburg GmbH will assume responsibility for the administration of the Foundation, without influence over the Foundation’s assets.
