The World Trade Centers Association was established in 1970 by its President, Mr. Guy F. Tozzoli, as a non-profit and non-political community committed to the support and facilitation of global trade.

The WTCA provides a global trade link between its members in almost 300 cities in 85 countries. As one of the driving forces in the development of innovative services for the conduct of international business, it is the task of the World Trade Centers Association to support the establishment and successful operation of individual World Trade Centers – to create the stability, peace, world trade and development for the growth of business.


Tasks

The most important tasks of the World Trade Centers Association include:

•  Promotion and expansion of international commerce;
•  Expansion and strengthening of international trading relations;
•  Increasing the share of developing countries in world trade;
•  Promotion of cooperation and mutual assistance among members;
•  Concentrated service provision for members;
•  Promotion and further development of the World Trade Center concept;

Concentration of contacts and centralisation of services form the fundamental goals of all World Trade Center projects.


Headquarters

The headquarters of the World Trade Centers Association is in New York.
